The Drop Flat Fiberhome is a self-supporting drop optical cable suitable for use as an outdoor (aerial) and indoor cable. It has a central optical fiber and the addition of two parallel steel wires for strength and an additional steel wire for messenger function. It guarantees low attenuation and ease of stripping and optical splicing.

It is manufactured under the quality control systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHS. Its LSZH outer shell is flame retardant, low smoke and zero halogen, ensuring good safety and environment friendly.

In addition, the reel design has been redesigned and is now safer and more secure thanks to steel tubes arranged along the entire central length of the reel. It is available in 1 or 2 km reels, with length markings. See the datasheet for more information.

Drop Flat Fiber Optic Drop Cable, also called DROP FLAT CABLE, model CFOAC-BLI-A/B-CM-01-CO LSZH , is widely used for final access to the subscriber in FTTH optical networks. Its flat construction containing a G.657.A2 type optical fiber path, ensures a more pronounced curvature that gives the product ease of installation and network reliability added to the low installation and maintenance cost. It consists of an SM optical fiber in the cable core, protected by two metal tensile members and a steel cord that facilitates anchoring and suspension of the cable.
