It has a support element connected to the optical unit through a thermoplastic membrane, configuring the figure 8 format. To protect the basic unit, an aramid thread is applied, protecting the fibers against tensile stresses. The thermoplastic material, which in addition to being flame-retardant, also protects the cable against the action of UV rays.
