The AS 80-S Optical Cable is fully dielectric and suitable for urban backbone, backhaul and subscriber access network installations. It has up to 12 tubes with a capacity of up to 12 optical fibers each, and is suitable for self-supporting aerial application for spans between poles of up to 80 m, without the use of ropes. High protection against humidity, with the basic unit protected by hydro-expandable gel and wire in the cable core, and UV protection coating, and can also be supplied with flame retardant (RC) protection.
