The ASU 80 single-tube self-supporting aerial cable is composed of two tensile elements (FRPs) stranded with the loose tube, which can contain from 2 to 12 optical fibers. They are recommended for installation in FTTx/FTTH access networks for interconnecting Optical Termination Boxes and customer accesses, in aerial networks in spans of up to 80m.
