Dielectric Optical Cable with Single-Mode Fiber. Self-supporting for spans of up to 80 meters, in Distribution Networks/Backbone.

Main Features

– Dielectric central element: Reinforced fiberglass with or without coating.
– Loose tube: Loose tube technology impregnated with thixotropic, water-repellent gel containing up to 12 optical fibers.
– Assembly: The elements (tubes and fillings) are assembled in reverse SZ twist around the central element.
– Protection against humidity: Core protected with hydro-expandable material (dry).
– Support elements: High-modulus dielectric wires.
– Outer cover: Outer cover in black thermoplastic resistant to UV rays and weathering, containing tear wire.

AS 80 Prysmian is a self-supporting optical cable for spans of up to 80 meters. Fully dielectric with single-mode fiber recommended for external installations as a cable for transport networks in urban junctions, being indicated for external aerial installations, with direct launch between poles, which do not require the use of ropes.
