The stand-alone rectifier model SE2001/08 is suitable for powering -48Vdc equipment from an AC power grid, in applications that do not require redundant rectifier operations, thus providing a low-cost solution.
It is 1U high and is suitable for installation in 19″ racks. In addition to the rectifier, it also consists of a battery disconnect circuit (LVD), a digital output voltage and current meter, micro thermal circuit breakers for one battery input and two consumer outputs, thus eliminating the need for spare fuses, keys for adjustments and commands, and relays for issuing remote alarms. The rectifier has a BOOST converter at the input that performs power factor correction and allows operation on a universal network (90Vac – 260Vac). It is capable of supplying 15A at its output when powered by a power grid above 185Vac (nominal 220Vac network) or 10A for a power grid between 90Vac and 185Vac (nominal 110Vac or 127Vac network).
